Who can use the service?
Anyone whose mobility is restricted by age, illness, disability or accident regardless of whether the restriction is of a permanent or of a temporary nature. The Scheme is open to those who wish to use it on a regular basis (full members) or those who wish to use it on a casual basis (temporary members).
Advice and Instruction.
We can offer free and impartial advice on the use and maintenance of mobility products as well as free instruction on the use of mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs.
D.A.N.E.S. (Disability Advice North East Suffolk) also offers a free impartial and confidential service, providing information, advice and representation services to all disabled people living in Lowestoft, Waveney and North Suffolk. For more information visit www.disabilityadvicenes.co.uk

Mobility Scooter
We are a registered charity (No. 1100208) committed to the affordable hire of all mobility equipment either long or short term. The equipment includes 4mph mobility scooters, travel scooters, powered wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, tri-walkers, rollators and walking frames. We are also currently selling new and reconditioned mobility equipment.
The Charity was founded in 1996 and has made over 22,700 hires since then. We hire equipment to those in and around the East Suffolk (formally known as Waveney) area as well as those who are visiting or having a holiday here.
